Ekaya
A two-day experience in the heart of Sikkim, bringing together movement, culture, nature, sound and human connection. Slow down, explore and reconnect - with yourself, with others, and with the extraordinary mountains.
EKAYA : A Two-Day Journey Through Movement, Culture & Sound
Step into EKAYA, a two-day experience where movement, mindful practice, cultural expression and sound come together against the backdrop of the Eastern Himalayas.
Created for people who move, create, explore and connect, EKAYA brings together practices such as yoga, Capoeira, flow arts, Animal Flow, Aerial Silk and sound immersion, alongside Sikkimese cultural experiences.

Across two days, the journey moves from grounding and connection to flow and exploration - inviting you to experience movement not simply as practice, but as a way of connecting with yourself, with others and with the place around you.
Day 1
Ground & Connect
MOVEMENT · CULTURE · COMMUNITY
We begin by arriving, settling in and opening the space. A day to move, connect and ease into the experience through movement, culture and shared presence.
Welcoming & Grounding Session
Gentle movement, mindfulness and wellbeing practices.
Singye (Snow Lion) Cultural Dance
A celebration of Sikkim's living heritage.

Welcome Evening
A shared evening with locally inspired flavours.
Day 2
Flow & Explore
MOVEMENT · NATURE · SOUND
The second day opens into movement, exploration and sensory experience. A collection of practices invites participants to discover different ways of moving, playing, creating and connecting - from mindful movement and martial arts to flow practices, aerial movement and immersive sound.
Morning Yoga Flow
With Aradhana Gurung & Surbhi Sachdeva · Ebb & Flow
A mindful movement practice centred around breath, mobility and presence, creating space to connect with the body and begin the day with intention.

Capoeria Workshop
With Shiva · Casa de Capoeira
A Brazilian movement practice that brings together martial arts, dance and rhythm. Through agile footwork, acrobatics and flowing movement, Capoeira becomes a playful exchange between movement and expression.

Flow Arts
With Sachin Singh & Swadesi Treks crew
An exploration of movement, rhythm and object manipulation. Participants can discover different flow practices including juggling, poi, dapo and staff, using rhythm and coordination to find their own creative flow.

Animal Flow
A ground-based movement practice exploring strength, mobility, coordination and locomotion.
Animal Flow invites participants to work with the body in dynamic and instinctive ways, connecting movement with rhythm and control.
Rooted in the relationship between movement and the ground, Animal Flow offers another way to experience the body - less about performance, and more about discovering how you move.

Aerial Silk
With Dasha Fogel
An expressive aerial movement practice where strength meets flow. Through climbing, wrapping and moving through suspended fabric, participants explore balance, flexibility, strength and creative expression.

Sound Immersion / Dusk Fire
With BFR Sound System + Swadesi Treks crew
As the day moves from movement into evening, the experience shifts towards sound and sensory immersion. BFR Sound System and Dusk Fire create an atmospheric space to listen, move and experience sound together.
Closing Circle
The journey comes together in a shared closing circle - a moment to pause, reflect on the experiences of the two days and reconnect with the people who shared them.
Movement gives way to stillness. Exploration becomes connection.
